What is the plan program?

The plan program is the first step on the road to a new plan. It is simply the "recipe" for how we intend to create the area part of the municipal plan. You can download the plan program here.

The planning work is organized as a main project with sub-projects for housing and urban development, transport and mobility, and a green plan. In addition, business development, soil protection, cultural landscapes and climate adaptation will be important topics. More information about Green Plan can be found on this page

The plan program was up for consultation until 15 June 2020. Here are all the input that came in.

The plan program was approved by the municipal council on 16 November 2020.

Here you can see a half-hour presentation of the plan program, which was held for Finnøy municipal district committee on 9 June 2020.

When is the plan finished?

The area part of the municipal plan will hopefully be finally adopted during 2022. Until then, the area parts of the former municipalities will apply to their respective areas (Stavanger, Rennesøy, Finnøy and Hjelmeland / Ombo).
